I know it's been awhile but I am ready for a new blog. In with the new and out with the old. So thank you for your patience as I update to the latest. I've started by revamping my website with all new images, pricing, packages, and even a year round mini session. I am ready to tackle a new year capturing your families most cherished memories. This was so hard... my first year to do a slide show review of the last year and I can't tell you how time consuming it is narrowing down just a few images. Honestly, picking favs from 171 sessions in the last year (91 of them were just babies) it was tough but so much fun looking back. I love my job and can't thank you, the loyal clients, my friends, enough for the support. I look forward to celebrating another new year capturing all of your families memories. A New Addition to the Family

Baby Hal is home from the hospital and celebrated his very first Christmas with his family. This afternoon I got to photograph all his little precious baby parts and incorporate some of my new props. I just can't help myself... it's like an addiction and I can't helping wanting to capture these very first precious moments. Aw..... hope my dear friend has a few favs. Here are some of my favs from his super easy session. He wasn't all wide eye during this visit but was again super sweet even when he pooped more then a few times. haha!

Sweet, Sweet, baby girl, Alaina, is just 5 months old and just happy as can be. Love all the girlieness in these images and loving my new pink pettieskirt that I've recently added to my collection. I've already had a request for a black one and red one and I just saw that Kiaya Eve has add some new fun colors for the spring. Oh, I love playing dress up and capturing these little priceless smiles.

Hope everyone enjoyed thier Christmas holiday... it's back to work and I have lots to post and another brand new baby to photograph today. Wonderful, Wonderful, Loving, Joyful holiday! I love my family and moments like these to cherish and hold on to forever. I wish I was home celebrating with my sisters, brother, mom and dad but I got to do that for Thanksgiving. Today was a day of hanging out with my baby girl and hubby and we played alllll day, it was torture to put all the games, baby dolls and clothes away. My Bella was spoiled with Princess everything buy all of her sweet grandparents. I am just glad that they are a part of her life because I only knew my grandparents by name that I meet only a few times in my life. Well, I still have lots to edit from the day and then it's back to work. I have some shopping to do in the morning and phone calls to make in the afternoon. Hope you all had a wonderful holiday season and I CAN NOT WAIT for the new year!!! Whoo hoo!!! Merry Christmas my friends.

Here is a sweet boy I had the opportunity of photographing just before Christmas. Last time I seen him he was itty bitty and just days old. Now at nearly 7 months old he was a litter trooper and let me play dress up for about an hour to capture some fun stuff for the holidays. What a cutie! Thanks so much "M"!

Welcome baby Hal! A dear friend of mine gave birth to her beautiful baby boy just a few days ago and I just can't help myself...... I had to get a look at him and take a few pictures to document the moment . This sweet little one was welcomed into the world at almost 9lbs and just as perfect as can be. All wide eyed while I visited, which isn't the norm for a newborn, here are some rather priceless images of all his perfect baby parts. Congratulations my dear friend!!! What a blessing to welcome him into your family this Christmas season. I was a little tickled thinking about how perfect an addition would be in my own family. I so love having just my one but it's now or never because my clock is talking. haha!

This cutie is the Big One and I can't hardly believe it. I've been capturing his families memeories for nearly as long as I've been in business. His big brother was one of my first precious babies that I captured and now he is turning 4 in the year to come. Time flies when you are having fun! Right! Well, this cutie has been just smiles to capture ever time I see him. He always makes my job super easy I hate to see him go. Now his momma's just got to work on having a little sister. Haha! Well, Merry Christmas everyone. I am still capturing some bright smiles this season and enjoying the cool weather with my little girl. We are baking goodies today and hopefully visiting Santa in these last few hours till the jolly old man visit us.

More Family Fun at the Park

One more family from the holiday season at an ever popular park this season. It's a great location, close, and free to get in so it works out perfect and hopefully you'd never know that it was that popular because I tried my hardest to make it different ever time. I love variety instead of the same oh same and I love for my clients to feel like they got something unique. Often times I am limited in what is close to home but there are a few parks locally and there are toooooons of lakes. I'd love the opportunity to have a session on a boat because I feel like that is oh so appropriate for our neck of the woods. So, if any one has a boat and is interested in a complimentary FUN session let me know.

Yada Yada! Hope everyone is enjoying a wonderful holiday season. We had a very fun night out attending a Christmas Party... mingled with old friends, meet new ones, and then danced the night away. I can't tell you how few that opportunity crosses our path anymore so I was all for it! I love to DANCE! If anybody knows me they know I love to take pictures and dance. I also like to have a little bit of style but hate to shop and would love to be rich just to have personal stylist. haha!

Well, here is a dear friend who won my complimentary Christmas special when she and her kiddos attended my fall portrait party wearing some really unique costumes made by mommy herself. Family: Three Generations

More family memories from early in the season. It was a busy one and I didn't get to post as often as I'd like to have. Here I had the opportunity of capturing family memories for a sweet lady and her three grown sons, their families, and all the grandchildren. Awesome! I wish I had these very same memories of my own family. I know how hard it is to get everyone on the same page for a group session. Tis the season for family! Hope everyone is in the spirit and have the opportunity to share the memories with family. Last night was a sweet moment for us when we attending my daughters first School Christmas concert. I guess it was a concert or play of some sort. All the classes sang songs that explain the birth of Jesus. It was so cute! I think I was more nervous then she was. I know this is just the beginning of memories I'll want to share and treasure with my little one. She made me proud and that was such a cool feeling.

It's Christmas time and the kids are crazy with smiles and wishes for what Santa may bring them on Christmas morning. It is so sweet to see the excitement and the way their eyes light up when they see all the lights and decorations. My daughter is always yelling, "look, look, look mommy". These are the days when I'd love to change my name but I know these days are on borrowed time and I'll want them back so I try to embrace the moment instead of wish it away. Here are some fun images of some super cute kidos from a recent portriat party. These is a new service I am offering and plan to have theme one in the coming year but I have the admit that right at home or at their friends house all the kids seemed themselves which is a great way to capture all those sincere expression. Just returned from a very short but sweet visit home in celebration of Thanksgiving. I can't tell you how much it means to me that my hubby and I with our daughter made the 10 hour drive to and from. We even traveled camper style and man I wish I took a picture and totally forgot. opps! The holiday was over in a flash because every time I am home it's like an extended portriat session from dusk till dawn. I am the oldest of many so there are lots of pictures to be taking and I don't ever remember everything which makes me mad when I download the results. Yada! Yada! So I hope you too had a very yummy Thanksgiving and got to enjoy the holiday sales. I enjoyed the company it include everyone I'd want to hang out with on any day of the week even my best friend in the whole wide world came to celebrate with us. This little man was such a sweet charmer all in his sleep. Those little lips, nose and tiny hands and feet. He couldn't be more perfect and he slept, he slept, he slept.... maybe I am just getting the hang of what these little one's like. I even remember to bring my portable heater to keep him warm during the session. Oh, and the results are sweet I think his mommy and daddy will have a hard time choosing. Mini Fall Portriat Fun

This is about a week or so over due but I haven't had a work computer to edit the results and show off the fun that my friends and their kiddos had at our house for fall. This was my first attempt at a portrait party and besides having a tiny house and the delay on getting the images edited I think it was alot of fun with great results. I'll have to let you know what my friends say. Just emailed them out! haha! So everyone showed up in the cutest, coolest, most creative costumes and sweetest fall wear ready to eat sweets, make crafts and get their pictures taken.

As promised the winner of the best costume wining a complimentary Mini Christmas Special is......... Spider Fairy!!!! I have to say it was so hard choosing which one when everyone was so darn cute and the girls gorgeous! But to be honest when mommies goes out of their way to create something so cool and unique I can't help but be envious. I am always looking for something creative for my daughter to wear but would never attempt to actually make it myself. lol! Spider Fairy's mommy made the wing, headband, wand and has three kids. Wow! You go super mommy!

Here is a look at the fun! And just incase your wondering I couldn't get my daughter in her Sleeping Beauty costume because she wanted to wear the orange and black stripe tights but she was more then happy to jump in a few images. Thanks Ladies! Hope to do it again.

This family was a riot! One of my first sessions of the season at Lake Louisa State Park and the morning couldn't have been any nicer. This is a family that is near and dear to me because they were one of my very first clients and I've loved the opportunity they given me, capturing their family memories. It's so cool to watch these kiddos grow from babies, to toddlers, to little kids. So knowing these adventures cuties it was no surprise I was only lucky enough to capture the very first image of everyone looking at the camera. Their mommy will be happy! The rest of the session was none stop fun running around the park. Literally! I've never laughed so hard during a portrait when poor daddy was jumped on like a bean bag. Thanks for the fun.

Little Miss DJ is not only beautiful like her momma but she is full of personality. Some of the things she would say would throw me for a loop. I often had to remind myself she is just the same age as my daughter. Her family even told me she loves to sing and perform. Fun maternity session with a dear friend expecting baby #2! Horray for mommy's who are so brave enough to carry another baby around in their swollen belly's for 9 months after they already know what it is allllll about. I am not sure if I'll ever be that brave again. haha! Though truly I have nothing to complain about because I had a perfect pregnancy. I just figured why jinx it! Yada yada! It's fall and it's so fun to dress up even I get excited every year pondering what will my Bella be (since I still get to decide what she is wearing) and then what will I be that may or may not coordinate. This little cutie fit the part to a tee as he ran around in his cowboy gear as "Woody" from Toy Story. He wasn't as fond of the hat but it all worked out. Here is some of the fun.

I'll be photographing Maddy's 2nd birthday in the up coming weeks so we meet for a mini session in Winter Park. The session lasted a whole lot longer then anticipate because this little tinker bell was so easy going as I ran to keep up with her capturing all those precious curious toddler moments. Though I have to admit that the doggie, pictured below, brought a joy like no other to Maddy. Then she took a ride on her daddy's shoulders, played in the water fountain and was just ecstatic watching the squirrels run up the trees. Oh, I have so many favorites it was really hard just picking a few. What a beauty!

More fun with sweet Alessandra and Isabella celebrating their first birthday with a cake smashing session. And to think I was so proud of finally learning how to decorate a cake : ) After spending a week of baking cakes and buying decorating bags and experimenting with what frosting is the best to use..... I had no idea! At last my fourth cake was just alright and I was so proud I figured out how to make my cupcake cake just a little bit of pretty. All that work and in just seconds the cakes were history and the girls LOVED it! I thought for sure that Alessandra would sit still to eat but it didn't happen she would dig in and run away. Isabelle on the other hand politely sat and ate. Oh, what fun and what a big oh mess. I love it! Here are a few favs from the session.

Well, I hope to have more to post soon but need to edit. I was on the goooooo all day starting with the gym at 6am then a maternity session and family portrait. Little Fairy Princess

This adorable little fairy is ONE! Yay! After a yummy cake session I met Amelia and her mommy for some fun at the park. It was 9am and this lil fairy was all smiles. Again yay! So the session couldn't have been more perfect. Oh, and this outfit is not part of my collection and was purchased at Etsy's Sweetie Pie Tutus. Now I was little envious of her cute wings so I am looking to add a few to my inventory. This little cutie is getting so big... I couldn't believe how much he changed in the last 3 months. This is little lady was super sweet and so laid back at 8 months old she hardly let out a peep. Her mommy and I on the other hand were drenched in sweat and couldn't stop talking about how darn hot and humid it was. One of the very few things I have to complain about in here in Florida..... it is fall now! A cool 70 degrees would be a nice break! So Leslie and I went to high school together and I can't believe so many years have passed but talking to her felt just like we seen each other yesterday. It was great catching up and I had an awesome evening capturing her families memories. It was to cool seeing Leslie and meeting her family for the first time. Her precious little munchkins are 1 and 4 so sitting still was a challenge but what else it new. That's just the way it goes with kid'os .... I never expect more! Just go with the flow.... kids will do what ever they want. Isn't that the truth and I love every minute of it.... call me crazy! :)

Our Nation's Capital

Durning my visit home a friend of mine was spending a couple of days in Virgina. I always want to go but after driving 10 hours to my mommy's I can't imagine spending another 6 hours in the car to drive there. So when she said she would drive I was all about another couple days of adventure. My little girl and I went when she was just a baby so we didn't visit many sites infact we only saw the new Air Force Memorial on that trip. This time we weathered the heat and I do mean it was HOT! I thought Florida was hot but there was just something about the humidity it was awful but I am a trooper so it didn't brother me much. My baby girl on the other hand was not up for much once she was outdoors. You can see it in her expression in the pictures I took. OH, and I took many here are a few of the sites we visited. At 3years old my daughter loved to play in all the fountains around the National Mall and she was in awww..... at Air and Space Museum and love the Dinosaurs at the Natural History Museum but was all tired by that time. Thanks for putting up with all the vacation post. I have baby Chase's session coming up next. It's almost the end of the week and I think I am back into the swing of things at home. I already have to visit the grocery store again.... ahhh!

Beach Sunset

If there is one thing I love besides Starbucks coffee, chocolate (the real kind), and tutus it would be beach sunsets or sunrise. The natural beauty brings me so much peace when I get the opportunity to witness it. I'd love to retire on the beach some place, some day. Truly is there any better place? All beach fun has come to an end. Boo! I had a wonderful time, relaxing just a bit, handled my daughters meltdowns, made my first beer margarita, got a little sun, and captured a ton of memories......of course! How else would the vacation ever be remembered and besides my life is not normal if I don't have a ton of images to edit. So here is the first of many memories of my beach week adventure. Every time I vacation at a beach it is my goal to get up at least one morning we are there to capture the sunrise. If any body knows me they know I am not an early riser so this is a challenge. Enjoying vacation and have spent the better part of my days laying ocean side trying to read "New Moon" while my daughter plays. Last night was a much need ladies night out with my best friend of twenty years. I can't remember the last time we ever had a night like that. Soooooo much fun it was like we were twenty one again. There are just some friends that you couldn't imagine your life without and that is my best friend, Ann. I've spent this week with her and her two kiddos just hanging out. Oh, I will not ramble or I'll save it for a personal journal but I love her to pieces. I haven't laughed as much as I did last night in a really long time.

Spent the evening chasing my best friend and her little ones around the beach tonight at sunset. Being an east coast beach we didn't get a lot of color in the sky but the light is the best to photograph in. There were a lot of laughs and I took a ton of pics so much more editing to do. I'll be sure to post a few favs. Oh, the beach weather has been awesome... like it's 80 degrees so you could literally stay allllll day! This is nothing like the baking heat when going to a Florida beache.

This is just the beginning of this littl man who is just 7 days old. His momma and daddy let me spend a very long time capturing all his itty bitty ness. He was the first baby small enough to fit in my baby pod and I was super exited (these are the first couple of images). Then I tried out the cheese cloth images that I think I am still perfecting but I thought these two turned out sweet. Last but not least a few images in his birthday suit saying "nice to meet you world... it is a beautiful place". So I have much more to edit, so stay tuned. I am working a little during my stay at the beach for a week because I just can't help myself. I don't like to get behind and I know I'll take a ton of pictures while I am here.

Another day at home spending quality time with the family. This evening including watching my nephews, Naki and Isaiah, play basketball at their local recreation center. First day home and it's been uh... relaxing I guess. My daughter, remember is 3 years old, and her cousin is 2 1/2 so the relaxing part is pretty much not happening. They love and miss each other, always ask about the other, then when they are together it's a lot of screaming laughter and running, jumping and falling down. Oh my! Bucs Practice

It is a rather busyyyyyy weekend for me... a couple of portrait sessions and a fun night with the family at the Tampa Bay Bucs night practice. It's football season again and my hubby is more then ready for it. He is pretty much a die hard fan that attends all of the Bucs home games. He can't wait for the chance to bring our little girl but at 3 years old she doesn't have a very long attention span. So this event was perfect to introduce our Bella to the fun. OH... and she had fun but just couldn't sit still. Here are a few images from the evening. I am not a sports photographer and did not bring my very long lens in the stadium but here are some images taken with my wide angel from the stadium seats. I did spy a few patrons using their long lens so I'll have to try again next year.

Off to see the open training day of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and yes, I'll take plenty of pictures. This will be our little girls first time going to any football event. Now don't let these images fool ya... Jackson could careless about eating cake let alone making a wicked mess! One look at the cake and he was in tears. It wasn't until his mommy cut up some strawberries that he finally was alright right with sitting next to the cute clown cake. So eventually he realized it was a little yummy but still not the cake smashing session his mommy and I were hoping for. Even still this little one is such a Gerber baby that it is hard not to capture such great images.

So it's long past the 4th of July the it still being July the color theme was appropriate. Besides the kids made these cool tie dye t-shirts and that is so special. We meet at the Disney Boardwalk and the weather was already way to hot so the kids could careless about taking pictures. Of course this is typical kid behavior so it doesn't bother me in the least. So it is my birthday today and I took a mandatory day off and spent an afternoon with my Bella at Disney's Animal Kingdom. It is one of my favorite theme parks and one that my baby girl hadn't yet visited. I have to admit that even in the heat and among the hundred plus tourist we had a little bit of fun. The Nemo show was pretty awesome and there was no line for the Safari ride... yeah!

So a birthday isn't complete without something sweet and flowers for the birthday gal so Bella and I made a pit stop on the way home. I opted for a raspberry filled chocolate cupcake but my daughter relates cake with birthday so she got a mini cake top with rich chocolate topping. She is pictured in the last image blowing out the candles. So cute! And my yummy cupcake top with whip topping isn't in my healthy living plan but it's my birthday and I promise to live life rich!

I've had the honor of capturing Destiney's birthday sessions the last couple of years and this year was the big F-I-V-E! Wanting to make the session extra special we headed downtown Orlando for a bite of urban grunge. I've wanted to do one of these session for a while and I think they turned out tooo cute!
